Have you heard about the VCM30 which is not recognized by Manager if mounted on the Legacy Carrire Card?
I tried by creating a new config offline too, if you set the Carrier card the VCM cards option is not shown, on all IPO Managers from R7 to R9.
The KB states the VCM30 on the carrier board are still supported.

tks

I hope you make a mistake because I have to upgrade three IP412 sites, each one has one or two IP400 VCM30 card which have to go on a Lecacy card in IP500v2 R9.
One in Brussels, one in Kiev and one in Sofia...

I have a site with a VCM24 on a legacy card carrier.
It works fine although keep in mind that T.38 is an option on a SIP trunk but it breaks outgoing calls for analog and digital phones :-)
When you set it to G.711 then it works.
So if you need T.38 then add a combocard or a normal VCM card (first from left to right)
Been there and done that :-)

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

I have to prepare 2 new system too, coming from 406, so I tried to create an offline config, no way to set the VCM on the carrier board, what do you see tlpeter in the config, which board declares Manager on the hardware?

It shows this: CARRIER/VCM24
It appears that the carrier with VCM is not an option in the offline config.
