VBA vs LISP??

When to use LISP over VBA, well ... it depends. There are certain things that LISP cannot do and certain things VBA cannot do. User interaction seems to be a little more clear cut with LISP. VBA has it all over LISP for modifying actual entity properties and usually with batch processing. Did you have something in mind or just wanting to see some discussion.

Well, nothing specific really. I just wanted to start some discussion to see some of the positives and negatives of both languages. I had hoped to get some repsonses but there doesn't seem to be too much interest. I started my programming "hobby-ing" with LISP as I use AutoCAD at work. I wanted to create custom macros to expedite things that I do day-to-day. Taking that same idea to some of the administrative side of my work, I began learning VBA for Excel. Since then I have become quite handy with VBA, have even purchased VB6 to create standalone apps and have, kind of, gotten away from LISP. I prefer the object oriented environment of VBA over LISP. VBA just seems to be more powerful in what it can do.
