Is a VB4-16bits program 100% compatible with Windows NT 4?

MiggyD,
Can you tell me why my Windows NT computer is giving me an error of 424 Object required or sometimes 20001 error. The 16 bit application runs on Windows 98 32 bit.

TondoBoy:

I was able to find error code 424 but not 20001...here's what you do to see the answer for your self.

>start VB4 (16bits)
>click HELP
>click CONTENTS
>click TRAPPABLE ERRORS

'--in the new window...
>read the whole thing first, about APPLICATION specific errors (--nothing to do with VB APPS--) this is where your error #20,001 is most likely coming from..another app or a dll call not linking/un-registered.
'--in the new window...
>click "DDE and Form-Related Messages"
>scroll down to error #424.

Hope this helps you.
