Could anyone tell me what are the advantages of using Visual Basic over Access (if that's the case) ?
Thanks

Well, it depends what you want to do as they are 2 completely different tools.

Access is a database system. You can create tables, queries, reports and so on.

VB is a programming language which let you programme anything you like, including accessing and modifying databases.

What is it you want to do???

What I meant was whether it was better to use Access or VB as the front end. I am using Access as the back end. I wasn't sure if there was anything that Access could do and not VB or if there are some disadvanatges in using VB over Access as the front end? I couldn't get anything on the web that could compare the both in terms of efficiency, cost, stability, ease of use and stuff like that. I would appreciate a response.
Thanks Nath
