Hi,
I have a VB.Net program that copies files from one directory to another and a status strip bar along the bottom that displays the current file name being copied. Works fine until I click on a different window (e.g. open explorer) and then return back to my program. It hits a lag screen and when my program is finished the display arrives back into its normal state. Has anyone any ideas that I can try to get back the current screens display so I read the status strip bar at any time regardless if I switch between windows or not.
Thanks,
T111!

You can try using a BackgroundWorker to do the file copy work. That way, it's in a separate thread and your user interface can remain responsive while the work is being done.
