VB.Net and Business Intelligence

Can anyone tell me if I have the right software? I am just starting out with Business Intelligence reports for SQL Server (SRS). I have taken a few classes, and I am now trying to setup my system. My SQL Sever is 2000. I have installed SRS 2005 and think I have it configured. When I go to Visual Basic.net Standard edition I do not see “Business Intelligence” under the projects. Is that because I installed VB.Net first? Will VB.net allow me to do that?
