I'm new to vb. I have a form in vb that is tied to an access 97 query. The dropdown fields work well in access but when I use them in the vb form, they appear blank and i can not update the query either. What I'm I doing worng. Thank You.

Many VB controls do not work the same as they did in Access's VBA. By what means have you "tied" your form to the Access query? How are you connecting to your database?
