I created a simple application that basically calls a crystal report to open, print and close. It works on one server. Yet when I transfer the code to a different server, I get the following error when trying to run:

11/03/2003, 09:31:00, 4, 0, :File Not Found.

What does this mean? What file cannot be found? Everything is in the same directory as the executable...

it can be DLL files that ur ActiveX uses...

Known is handfull, Unknown is worldfull

Is this the same question you posted in thread708-696991 ?

If so, see my answer there. Also read faq222-2244. In it you'll find out why cross-posting is discouraged. You may also find out how to get better answers, as I notice that you've only found 1 answer to be helpful out of the 33 questions that you've asked.

Same post yes - I reposted when I couldn't figure out how to delete the original one. I have been looking into the packaging solution. Just trying to carry it out.

If you inadvertently double-post, just RedFlag the duff one (using the link immediately below the centre of each post) and ask management to delete it. Leave a note in the thread directing others to the thread that will stay.

So did the suggestion work? I guess from the fact that you're now up to 38 questions and only 1 found helpful that you haven't had time to read faq222-2244 yet, especially para 15

I solved it myself (as is what happens often times). Thus, I no longer needed this post. THough I suppose I should have noted that. Apologies.
