i use vb 6 in Xp pro, i realize that my calendar control doesn't work, it will crash everytime i try to use that control. i also try to use vb 6 in xp pro without service pack, vb6 crash sometime. i wonder if installing service pack 1 for xp will help or if there is a service pack for vb 6 will resolve this issue. the same machine, in windows 2000 environment, calendar control, etc works. however, when i upgrade to later service pack, it got me the same problem like XP.

Have you recently (or in general) installed office xp your system? If so the problems is that the calendar control that ships with oXP breaks compatibility with the old one.
Hope that helps

Repeating VBDemiGod's question - is MS Office XP installed?

If yes, then leave Office XP where it is, uninstall VB6, reboot, then reinstall VB6. If the VB6 installation asks about installing an older file over a newer one, answer Yes.

Cheers.
