VB 2005 Express Edition Reports

I have a customer who wants a VB.Net application. I am developing it in Visual Studio.Net 2005. The application code will be turned over to the client upon completion, but the don't want top purchase the entire studio. They only want to purchase VB.Net 2005 Express edition. I planned on creating the reports in Crystal, but have noticed that none of the crystal controls are available in the express edition. Is there a way to get around this issue or will I need to create the reports with something else? And if so, could you direct me to where I can get more information.

Express Editions are not supporting reports.
Some one suggested to utilize the SQL Server reporting.. I am not familiar with that.

An alternate way is to use Sharp Develope (

http://www.icsharpcode.net/OpenSource/SD/)

as your IDE that supports reporting. It is free but still lacks much.

I have a similar issue, I have VS 2005 at work but Express at home. What I'm going to look at is loading data into a dataset which will then hold it in xml format.

Once it is in xml format I think I'll be able to add a web browser to a form and use xslt and css stylesheets to output the xml file to the browser so the user thinks they are getting a fancy report.

Does this seem like a good idea?

The only bad thing about that is if your report runs over a page in length. Then it prints out funny.
