We have a very old version of ABARS called Vault 98. I'm trying to use the restit command to restore data from a tape of a system that is no longer on-line. I use the following command:
mach1:restit -drv -date 0126000000 oldsys:/path /restore
It asks for a password and I get the following:
Internal error. contact ABARS manager.
1 block
no files restored
Then when I look in the Server Log on the gui it says:
srestit(PID):bnas.attach failed errno=100031
I've also tried using the extract command, but it says it found the data, but doesn't give me the prompt I'm expecting.
I've been able to confirm that I can restore data from the same time period on another machine that still on-line. But not from the one that's off line.
Does anyone have any hints as to how I can fix this problem?
Thanks,
Jeanne
