Ok all,

can this be done? I have tried but just can't get my head around this one.

Site A has an oncall rota working with VAR's and this works great! I can dial in and change to any on call tech's mobile.
I would like to set up site B to route to site A using a VEC in site B with a route number xxxxx.

Here's the pinch,
When it hits the VEC in site A which route to the Tech mobile using a VAR B, how will it know the VAR will kick it to the right Tech's mobile?

01 wait-time 1 secs hearing ringback
02 goto step 6 if B = 1
03 goto step 8 if B = 2
04 goto step 10 if B = 3
05 stop
06 route-to number 90xxxxxx with cov n if unconditionally
07 stop
08 route-to number 90xxxxxxx with cov n if unconditionally
09 stop
10 route-to number 90xxxxxxx with cov n if unconditionally
11 stop

It sounds like you are manually setting the variable in the variables table. So, if the vector in Site B routes to Site A and hits the vector containing the vector variable it will go to the right number as it will use the vector variable defined in Site A's variable table.

Your right Stinney,

but it goes to the route-to (which is my mobile), then jumps to step 9 which is a stop with out ringing my number.

Is site B a completely different phone system?

Same system and load Stinney.

I really stumped on this. Even dial it internaly from site A where the VDN/VEC resides it does all the checks but doesn't stop to dial the mobile number.

I've treid outting in wait-times to slow it down but just goes through to the stop.

Got it!

Tested internal number and it worked....it was the COR denying it outbound.

Must enagage brain next time.

Cheers,

I'm surprised you didn't get an FRL denial event in your trace.

I was confused because I interpreted from your first post that it was working at Site A.

Glad you figured it out.
