I am looking for an exhaustive list of prefixes from Microsoft specifically on proper naming convention for controls. Ex: txtMyTextbox, lblMyLabel, etc... All I found (not from Microsoft) was this: - and it's for VB6.

Could anyone please point me to such a .NET listing from Microsoft?

Thanks very much,
E.

RTomes, sorry I don't understand. I'm not looking for an application to download - just a list to print.

FxCop enforces the Microsoft standard naming scheme. Run it against your assembly, and it will suggest improvements. Even checks spelling, if you have MS-Office installed.

Yes, I understand. But isn't there just a plain old list somewhere?
