I have a form with a Combo Box that is a Value List of 7 options that I have designated in a certain order and saves in the main table as "DealStatus". Then I ran a query and took out two of the options under the criteria section. NOw, when I created a report off that Query and have DealStatus as a group header the values come in in either ascending or descending order. I want them to come in as the same order that I have on the form. Is this possible? Is there any code I can put in On format?

Thanks everyone!

Jon,

you'll have to add a numeric field to your table to store sortValue, add this to the rowsource of your combo box as a zero-width column, and sort by it.

Data in tables are stored in pretty much whatever order Access (Jet) sees fit to store them in. Queries (such as the rowsource of a combobox) are the way to sort records.
