validity check bound field

I would like to check a bound field entry to see if it is between two other fields on a form. I assume that I should do this in the BeforeUpdate event. If the field is between the two other fields, I want to accept it. If not, I simply want to warn the user, but all him to accept it if it truly is correct. How can I do this?

In the BeforeUpdate event procedure of the form you may play with the MsgBox function, the Cancel parameter and the SetFocus method.
