Val Manager

Hi Guys/Gals
I am getting the following eror when I try to send a wav file to the Val board:



Mon May 22 14:48:19 BST 2006 **Task: Copy Announcement Files, Task ID: 5** 200.10.10.19: ValFtpClient constructor: A ping to IP addx '200.10.10.19' failed. Ftp client reported 'Connection reset by peer: JVM_recv in socket input stream read'.

Any ideas? is this the one where we have to change settings on clan?

Check your LAN connection and IP Address on the VAL board. VAL Manager logs into the switch using the C-LAN IP address and then discovers the addresses of the VAL boards. It then uses that information to enable the file transfer and establish the ftp session. Try pinging the address that you have on the VAL board. If that passes, try doing a manual ftp from your PC.

Thanks Kevin, but just resolved it myself. He hadn't even connected it to the network!!!!!!
