Val Manager 2.0.8 Interop...

Has anyone tried to use Val Manager 2.0.8 on CM 2.1? We're running into a conflict. FTP cannot connect.

Any insight?

I had this problem once, It turned out to be a bad network cable between the Val board and cisco switch. I presently use Val 2.0.8 on 5 different sites with no problems. I take it you double checked the configurations in node-names and ip-services. When adding a new voice system, you point Val manager to your CLan card and port as defined in ip-services...just a few thoughts.

We're running:
System: G3xV12
Software Version: R012x.01.0.411.7

Our VAL Manager was 2.0.8 and it would not connect. We've since upgraded to 2.1 for VAL and it worked.

I am having the same problem but unable to find the upgrade software to 2.1. Anychance of getting it or if you can send me the link ?

I'm still waiting for my copy from my business partner. I had to borrow one from them in order to get this working.
