Hi
I installed uwin per thread798-1278692. No problems.
The issue is when I telnet to localhost (connect to uwin) the session drops almost immediatley so I cannot login and start an rlogin session.
I have found that if I run an ssh session from another program the session stays up and rlogin can be performed.
This would indicate that uwin does not like an insecure session or windows is terminating it?
Has anyone a solution to this issue

Thanks

I have the same problem. Has anyone found a solution?

I did the original thread a couple of years ago. Since then, I've had to rebuild my XP computer and I did have a number of problems getting the program to load back in again. I was wondering if this was because I had already updated to service pack 3 and since then, a number of my older programs (Including some Nortel ones such as KMT20 and NRU 11 etc) have been a real pain to install due to some sort of 16 bit error.

Due to this, I now use a simple but very efficient Rlogin program called S M Telnet. It's easy to install and run, just can't run my scripts!.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

We had similar problems and moved to Secure CRT instead of ProComm.
