A friend just got a new computer with XP pre-installed. She would like to use the "60s" theme from Win98 on the new machine. Since its not included in WinXP (and not available on the web via the "More themes online..." option), is there a way to copy a theme from a Win98 machine and use it in WinXP? Thanks is advance!

Using Win98 Themes in WinXP?

You can still use 'classic' (ie, pre XP) themes in the same way as before - you just need an application to manage them (like Desktop Architect - you can get that and others from here
Using the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard.
The Files and Settings Transfer Wizard helps you move your data files and personal settings from your old computer to your new one, without having to go through much of the same configuration you did with your old computer. For example, you can take your personal display properties, folder and taskbar options, and Internet browser and mail settings from your old computer and place them on the new one. The wizard will also move specific files or entire folders, such as My Documents, My Pictures, and Favorites
