Using Wildcard Certs With Hostheaders

Lets say you want to host three sites using hostheaders

1.) Site one = Default Site = No Host Headers

2). Site Two = Hostheaders

3.) Site Three = Hostheaders

My question can you use a regular cert on the default and wild card cert on the rest?

Or do you need to have host headers on all sites? Right now it works fine with the default havin know host headers but will it create a problem later?
