I have an ip500v2 r6 and there is one user who does not wish to use visual voice (she is blind). Is there any way to turn this feature off this one extension or does everyone have to suffer? Thanks in advance!

What phone and what software version ?

Untick the option "Messages Button Goes to Visual Voice" in the System > Voicemail tab.

And add a "Visual Voice" button to all other users who have VM. The only thing is now that the "Message" button cannot be used anymore.

Other option is remove the Vxxx in the source number, or in VMPro right click on the user and disable VM.

The last option will be the best option because your on R6 other options can be used in older versions.

or even a button that goes to the Voicemail collect feature

using the Dial feature in button programming for anything other than an external number is usually poor technique

I think giving her a different button for vm collect is the way to go. Thanks for your help!
