Using VB to send a command to 95/NT4 command prompt

How (if there is a way) can I get VB to send a string of data to the<br>
command prompt in 95/NT4? I tried sendkeys but this only works when<br>
going to other window applications. Any ideas. I am not an expert <br>
programmer (as yet!) but do have a good grasp with VB.
 
I think the Shell function may accomplish what you are trying to do. Look at the example is VB help for syntax.
 
One way I use is to use the shell command to invoke a batch file. I write the batch file to send whatever I want to DOS...
