Using VB 6.0 and its API (Business Objects) 1

Hi Folks, I'm trying to make the call on either using Crystal Reports (which I am using right now) and Business Objects (which we just got a license on).
I was told to do a short lecture on using Visual Basic 6.0 with Business Objects. I haven't seen any information on BO's web page about what API's are required and the pro's and con's of programming BO through VB. Does anybody have some sites I can go to that may have that type of information?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
