Using 'to print PROMPT' in VFP 5 1

When issuing a REPO FORM myRep TO PRINT PROMPT, the prompt box appears correctly, but printed page on HP printer is condensed to a quarter page. If the same command is used without the 'PROMPT', the report prints perfectly. Anyone come across this one?

This sounds like one of the problems with the original release of VFP 5.0. Try upgrading to the most recent (last) Service Pack. It's available at

http://msdn.microsoft.com/vfoxpro/downloads/updates.asp

(scroll down past the VFP 6.0 entries) and get Visual Studio 97 SP #3. You can order a CD or download the "Core" components for just updating VFP (4 files totalling ~40MB). (There used to be a Y2K update also, but it doesn't seem to be listed anymore.)
