Is there such a way to do this and if so, how?

Thanks in advance

Microsoft sanctions certain ways to do this. (borrowed from linney):

326904 - Error Message: The Product Key Used to Install Windows Is Invalid

HOW TO: Change the Volume Licensing Product Key on a Windows XP SP1-Based Computer

310637 - Troubleshooting Invalid CD Key Error Message During Windows XP Setup

Try reregestering these two Dll's from Start Run.

regsvr32.exe regwizc.dll
Enter
regsvr32.exe licdll.dll
Enter

The sanctioned methods above will work. Any other details should really be left to a Google search on "xp changing cd key" as this site has policies for other than the official recommendations.

unfortunately, Magical jelly bean works fine under SP1 , but does not work under SP2.
May may you know how to change the product key under SP2?

Thanks
