I need to add a Cisco 1711 Security Access Router (VPN) to the optional port of my firewall.

A PC in our trusted Lan behind the firewall will need to communitcate with the Cisco Router using vendor supplied connection software.

This is basically what I need to setup:

PC in trusted LAN (default gateway on PC is firewall)upon launching connection software on PC, will be sending SSL traffic destined for the VPN IP address of the vendor on the internet. I know that by default that traffic is allowed from the trusted to the optional, so I think that the PC will be able to get to the VPN device. I need to know how to get the traffic once it hits the VPN device from the PC back through the firewall and out to the internet to retrieve information from vendor... and get the traffic coming back through the firewall to the VPN and back to the trusted PC.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks
