HI!
I have a computer with windows 2000 server wich i want to share the Internet connection for my other pcs. There ar two nics in the computer. One is connected to the dsl modem; the other one th my lan. First I thought of routing the data with ip-routing but I'm not wether programs that access the interet with ports e.g. cute ftp are able to work with this method. Could you give me some information about how to set up the server that programs like the internet explorer or cute ftp can acces the internet?

Thanks a lot!
Max

The default configuration of Internet Connection Sharing will allow all socket-based TCP/IP applications (like CuteFTP) to work properly. I don't think you need to worry about any more complex port mappings.
