Using Recovery Storage Group

Hi,
I have created a RSG on my server. I have recovered from tape my .edb and .stm files on my one of my spare disks on the Exchange server. Is there a reason why I am unable to see those files when trying to recover them? I only see online databases. How can I get the RSG to see the files I have recovered from tape?
