Hi I am just wondering if it is possible to add certain variables from a table in Microsoft Access database eg. say ID #,person's first name etc to a WOrd Document template file, within Microsoft Access.

If so how would one go about doing it....I am guessing it will be done via coding in visual basics. If so can someone point me in the direction(eg tutorial) on how to do it!

Thanks,

Karv

You need to use Word Automation from Access to open your template and add values based on your Access data to the template. This is typically done using bookmarks or cutom document properties.

I have found this code sample to be very useful when I started doing it... (about 2/3 down the page access>>>word)

This will also help...
