Using IIS5 in Windows 2000 Desktop

Hi;
I assume your talking about Internet Information Services.
Are you doing Web Hosting, FTP Server, or Mail server.
If not, you don't need it. Its just using resources.
If you are exposed to the internet and not behind a firewall, disable it without delay. It can allow your system to be used to bounce SPAM email through SMTP.
