Hi everyone hope you can help!

i have just set up 3 new PCs in a remote office, with a good broadband connection, people will want to access terminal services at HO, i have got 3 VPN accounts set up to our server and im ready for a tough section

we use Citrix ICA client, and i know ill need to install it onto each PC at this new office, now when i installed it on a whim on my pc to see how it ticked it automatically brought up the program set and the correct settings! i dont know how but what am i going to have to do to allow the ICA client on the PC to get through to the our network and get the right info?

this is especially important as our users use a QL system and rather than having two desktops runnig some can just get the QL program up, this might sound a bit confusing sorry! but any help would be appreciated

thanks for the Help!

Right then. You have a couple of options open to you.

If they VPN in then its actually a piece of cake.

They open up Programme neightbourhood and you "Find a new application set". Maybe need to put in some server addresses but thats about it. I am assuming you have published the application for users to connect. If not then that is what you want to do.

Hi Scott cheers for the quick reply!

all the Citrix settings are all accounted for on our two terminal services servers, the programs sets which you speak of are all present and correct on there (im assuming) i have the IP addresses for all our servers written down (made sure of this when i started!)

when i install it then ill make sure that the VPN is established and then move onto find new application set

im assuming it will search thought the VPN connection and around our network for said settings then?

Indeed it should. It kinda browses using XML service for Citrix servers and the XML service will return the IP of your two servers. It should then just work! (it says here)
