Can anyone provide advice regarding utilizing Crystal Reports 8.5 in a ColdFusion application?

Thanks! Helen

If you are using CF 5, there is a CFREPORT tag that will put a crystal report in the page. I couldn't get it to work right with my reports -- it takes way too long to run.

On another note, I am using the ASP examples that crystal provides to serve up reports. I would much rather use CF to do it, but when I asked Crystal tech support if CF could be used instead of ASP, they said that they have no idea and will not support it if you could get it to work.

The ASP examples are pretty easy to use, but it's all flaky anyway. I'd suggest NOT using Crystal if you can avoid it.

why not use the Crystal page server that serves the .RPT files for you? thats what I have always done.
