using cd tower with NT Server sp6

Hi
I have just connected two Toshiba cd towers to one of my servers, each tower of 8 cds is connected through a seperate scsii card.
I have two problems though,
When I open My computer it takes nearly 10mins to see the contents, and then there are 4 more cds shown than the server has.
Does anyone know how to overcome this problem.

I would make sure you are running the latest drivers for your SCSI cards and that they are at the latest flash.
