How do you make use of bookmarks in crystal? I was wondering if I could export data to bookmarks.

TTBOMK, there is no native "bookmark" function within the RPT format.

The bookmark option only exists when exporting Crystal Reports to the PDF format.

You need to check the "Create bookmarks from Group Tree" setting when you export - and it does just what the name suggests.

That functionality ("when exporting Crystal Reports to the PDF format...") is available only starting with Crystal XI R2.

If you need it for lower versions or if you need more control over the pdf bookmarks, there are 3rd-party tools that provide that functionality.

It may help if you clarify your question. What exactly are you trying to achieve and in what export format?

- Ido

view, e-mail, export, burst, distribute, and schedule Crystal Reports.
