Using an old tape

Guys,

I'm quite new to Netbackup.

I have several tapes which were used in the past which have had their oririnal barcode labels removed.

I have since put new new barcodes on these tapes & ran an inventory.

I now need to delete these tapes but not able to due to the fact that netbackup reccognises the fact that these tapes have been used with an old label.

Is there a way round this?

yes, run bplabel to place a new label on the media that matches the physical label on the cartridge.
