i am using a access table and a table that is in our database. when i like the two tables it is crazy slow. is there a way to optomize the access table so it runs faster

Hi,
Any time 2 dissimilar data tables from different sources are joined, performance takes a nose dive..

Either import the Database table into Access ( not just link it, actually import it) or export the Access data into the Database..

Either way, having one source will make a world of difference.
