I have used an ACD, MaxP=1 to forward calls to cell phones on a lot of systems.
The customer claims that when they go to enter the ACD I have built they only get a busy. On hook, press CFW, enter # and press CFW does not work.
Here is the ACD I have built.

No good. When user activates call forward, all calls to the phone get a busy.

Sometimes you have to use the trunk ACOD instead of 9, I have never chasted down the reason for this but it probally has something to do with trunk to trunk Baring.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

I allowed trunk to trunk, but I was hoping to figure this out. I have put in in everywhere for years from early releases to 5.0 on 61s, 81s, and 11s.

I may have to break down and do the ACOD. I will let you know.

Please let us know because I have had this problem more then once and didn't have the time to chase it down.

Will do. Just outed the ACDs and starting again. 1st I will check to see if the set goes to VM. Then one step at a time.

does it work internal?

did you try the acod.. if so look at nfrl in ld 49, that can block acd..

from external your using the ncos of the trunk.. if that is to low to make a local call, that may be the only problem..

if ftr data cff and cfo.. call forward forwarding or originating... does not help much since your using a maxp 1 acd, the only ncos is the calling party or trunk...

Just outed the old ACD and built new. I had a customer dial the ACD internally and it rang my cell phone. I put the same ACD on the original customers set for FWD busy and FWD no ansewer. When the phone Fwds you get a busy. I raised NCOS on calling party to match the NCOS of the station I had test the ACD by dialing.

I must be stubborn. I have not tried the ACOD.......yet.

When you say you put the same ACD on the cust phone, do you mean with your cell # in it or theirs? Could it be as simple as their cell phone has an issue? Have you tried to dial the user cell direct from the phone? Just a thought ......

Yep, dialled their cell when their phone would only ring busy.

put a CDN infront of the ACD queue and see if she can forward to the CDN???

Finally broke down and used a phantom. Two of this beat on this for two days and we both appreciate all the help we got here.
I am going to go back again anyway and see if I can figure this out.

Not sure if this will help.

Is the route you are going out on a tie route? If it is make sure tro is set to no.

tro is trunk route optimization. The switch will pull a forwarded call back and try to send it out an more effiecient way...

In the past I have ran across ACD block being corrupted, therefore I go into LD 43 and do an EDD.Once the Dump is completed I would perform an INI on the switch and problem resolved.I am not saying you have to do this, however it has worked for me in several situations in the past.
Thanks

I am willing to give it a try. It won't be for a week or more. I will give it a shot and post.
