We have a small peer to peer Win2k Pro network. because we have no server we need to have all 3 users log on to their machines.

Our network and security shares all work for us because we have a user account made up on each of the 3 machines...

Eg) userA has an account on all 3 machines, so that when she logs onto her workstation she can access network shares.

The problem is that her account keeps expireing on the other machines (because she doesnt actually log onto them) and I cant find any user account setting that turns this off.

I would like her account to never expire, but there is no server?

Anyone know where that setting it?

I bet your passwords always expires every 42 days? Right? Their a local security settings that default to a password expiration to 42 days. The way to go about this is set the password to never expire. To do this in Win2k Pro outside a domain is go to Start>>Settings>>Control Panel>>Administrative Tools>>Local Security Policies>>Account Policies>>Password Policies>>Maximum Password Age-set to 0 for all passwords to never expire. Well, I hope this helps and point you in the right direction.
