Evening! Been on a client site the last two days migrating from Exchange 2000 to 2003. Al was going well until we noticed mail not moving between the two.kind of sorted this I think but there are two remaining issues.

1) although the public folder hireacy etc has been replicated from the old exchange to the new one, there is no physical data in the folders and it's been like that for over 24 hours, no great shakes if it doesn't work as there are only a small handfull but would be nice to know if anybody else had this issue.

2) All users that on the old system were Exchange Gods and could access any mailbox now do not have the right, even though they are still in the same groups and I have checked the permissions on te server/store properties and they are the same and correct. Any idea??

Thanks

1. Anything in the event logs about replication problems?
2. Glad I don't work there. Everyone having rights to everyone's mailbox? YIKES! What about mailbox rights?

Thanks for the reply...

Nothing of note in the event log I'm afraid. Upped logging level but just says it processed message from the old 2000 server but no data appears. As for user rights, bit of a typo...it's only 5 people that have this right, or more to the point, had this right...have checked all permissions and they look correct yet for some reason they now can't access them

now have some event log info this is on the 2003 server nothing showing on the 2000 box:

Error -2147221233 reading property 0x674b0014 on object type tbtMsgFolder from database "First Storage Group\Public Folder Store (joeblogs)".

I should add that I have serached the reg for the Replpication dword and neither box has one
