User query build

Hello,
I was wondering if there was a method to allow users to select from a list of fields in a table that automatically builds a query from a front-end form. If so, how would you incorporate aggregate functions as an option.

There is a complete query by form "applet" at Query By Form. It allows selection of fields, setting criteria and sorting, aggregation, etc.
