user listed in GAL on server but not in Outlook

I have a users account that I had to rebuild and the account is listed as a recipient on the server under my All Address List/All Users when I do a preview.

However in Outlook when I go to the address list, the user is not listed? Am I missing a refresh somewhere? It's been about 3-4 days now, so I know it is not a system refresh.

Have you checked to make sure this recipient is not hidden? Open up "Users and Computers", go to the "Properties" of the user account in question, check the "Exchange Advanced" tab and make sure the "Hide from Exchange address lists" is not checked.

I have checked. It is not hidden. The name does show in System Manager when I query the list. It is just not making it over to outlook for some reason.

That is strange. If you see the name in System Manager you should see it in outlook. Is the Display name perhaps entered differently than you are use to and maybe it is in the outlook screen but there as a different display name?

I had this problem when I had problems with the and it was not resolving properly. I will try and find the article I used and the microsoft notes.
