I am new to a company, and the former administrator is no longer here. There is a use that is having problems. when he logs on to his workstation, he has printing problems on a network printer that is on the print server. I look at his printers on his workstation, it says it cannot access that certain printer. I have given his account permission to access this, I have even given him admin privileges on this printer. Every time hereboots the workstation, he has to delete this printer and reconnect. It is my suspicion that the former administrator renamed his account just before I got here, but I am unsure of this. Any suggestions?

Is he printing directly to the printer through the print server or have you installed the printer on the server then shared from there?

Thank you for your response. The printer is installed and shared on the server. The user connects to this and prints.

To close this issue, I deleted the user then re-created the user. This seems to have resolved the issues.
