I have two network printers, and I was wondering if there is a way to generate user information like username, machine name etc on either a head or footer of the first printed page. I know how to get the seperator page to work but my management feels this is a waste of paper and would like just a single line to print at the top or bottom with the "who-done-it" info.

Has anyone ever heard of this being done?

Thanks

I have looked into this myself in the past & never found a way of doing it. It may be possible though.
Are the Managment worried about printing cost's?
If they are you could get something like Print Manager. I use an old version but the newer version is much better.
You can give users quota's, deny them printing more than a set number of pages Plus many more things. It is rather expensive though, but it may be worth the initial outlay if printing is costing the earth. Yo could charge user's once they exceed thier alloted quota.
