Hi,

i recently transferred 3 users and their pcs on to our work domain each with their own login accounts. The migration included their work which was initially stored locally. Following that, when i logged in as system/domain administrator i discovered that files belonging to one of the users were sitting in 'My Documents' of the administrator account, how has this happened, is it something to do with access controls of the users folder, please advise, most appreciated

i backed it up to usb key and then saved into the users 'my documents' area

I could only surmise that there was a problem with the copy/paste if the data was dragged across to the folders.

I am unaware fo any OS problems that could cause data to end up in the wrong place.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark
