Hi Hello Howdy and Please please help me.

I know this might be a dumb question but other than manually creatign and giving permissions to a CMS supervior login do you know of a way of creating a template give it permissions and then duplicate it to save time.

I have over 90 users in one site and 50/60 up and down the country that use r11 we have just upgraded to r12 and to say my sanity i need some help.

Thanx for any help.

what we usually do is search for the "template" login and just plug in the new login. We do have to do this one at a time, but it does beat creating each one from scratch.

now i really will sound like a noob but we don't have a template login on CMS supervisor r12.

Are you logging into the cms server or using the supervisor client?

We use supervisor.

I do something like this:

go to user data, add the new user (tsmith)

I want tsmith to have all the same permissions as jdoe.

After I add tsmith. I go to all the user permissions, and put in jdoe and hit find. Once jdoe permissions come up, i put in tsmith and hit modify.

I was thinking I did something similar for the vdn and vector access, but I realize I usually just put the entire range for everyone. However once you add vdn permissions for one person, you can cut and past the VDN access for each person. Then do the same for the vector, etc..
