User changing surname/mail forwarding

Rather than give her a new account, why not rename the old one? Much less work.
Change the display name and lastname, add a new SMTP address with the new name, and then make this new SMTP proxy the Reply To address (primary). Then she will still receive mail to her old SMTP address as well, and all previous replies to old mail etc internally will also work (because the mailbox is the same).
