IM exchange users only. Every ones account works properly.
One use though is only able to SEND messages. All messages SENT to this is are not received....unable to send to receipient...................
Any ideas?
may sound very basic but are you sure about the email address? There should be a message in the returned email saying why the message could not be sent...
Try replying to one of his/her sent messages and see what happens.

the address is correct since I can sent email to this person. The person sends and IM to me and I reply.....
same message...unable to send t receipient......
thats it........end of error message. I've tried with
firewall on, off, etc. nothing changes. Maybe a clean
install of windows messenger again???????

ok, I misread the first part of the post... missed the part where it says instant messaging
Nother silly question, have you checked his user profile under active directory? there's a setting there to enable instant messaging via exchange. It's set to disable by default...

Yep, checked.
Even disabled and then enabled again.
To make it stranger, this account was working without
problems until last week..........imagine

Next step could be to down load and install IM again.
Have nothing to lose, but won't be able to do that
until Jan.
