Useful XL ancillary S/W?

I've just been asked (along w/ other members of my dept) to suggest S/W items to be included in our capital budget for next year. I do a fair amount in Excel/VBA and I was wandering if any of you folks cared to suggest any add-ins, sample Excel libraries, development support packages etc. which you have found useful or which you lust after.

I intend to do some browsing of my own, but other peoples' experience is always worthwhile, and other perspectives might point me towards useful stuff I would not otherwise have considered.

So - any suggestions?

I'm sure I've heard people mention charting packages they've added into Excel. Has anyone here any recommendations? All the things I use are free ( ASAP Utilities, and MOREFUNC are ones I always have around ).

Thanks for the recommendation! I've already got MOREFUNC, but I checked out ASAP. Who needs to pay for add-ins when ASAP is free? I've not had much of a chance to use it yet, but I've had a quick look and I'm impressed.

I have an addin called Pareto Pro. I had a situation about a year ago where I had to produce tons of pareto charts. At $49 (US), it was well worth the money. Also, their customer service was outstanding.

I also have ASAP. You’ll definitely want to download that, especially for free.

And I inherited the company's copy of StatPlus, an addin that comes with the book Data Analysis with Microsoft Excel. Unfortunately, I didn't inherit the book, so I haven't used the addin very much. But if you are using Excel as a statistics tool it is very handy.

ASAP is (IMHO) about the only (non specific) add-in you will ever need - can't recommend it highly enough !
