Morning all.
We used to host abc.com on our exchange server. All abc.com users had accounts in our active directory, their email addresses were configured as user1@abc.com, user2@abc.com etc.
Recently abc.com decided to stop using us to host their email. I deleted the recipient policy in esm that applied to abc.com, deleted the forward lookup in our DNS, and deleted the email smtp address user1@abc.com etc from their Active directory accounts.
I can email them successfully from hotmail.com, but when I email them from our domain, I get a pretty rapid undeliverable, suggesting that it is still routing internally some how.
Has anybody got any idea on what I have forgotten to do ?
Thanks in advance
Paul
