Use Windows API to send email

Good afternoon:

I would like to send SMTP email from a simple command line program. I would like to use the windows api as I am restricted from installing any ocx/axctivex on this server. Please point me in the right direction.

Have you started by searching this forum? I'm sure that there are many threads dealing with this topic.

As a matter of fact, there is an FAQ on this. faq222-179

That FAQ is a little out of date - but a reasonable starting point, I guess.
